The Wine Tree Garden........the "art" of growing things !

     Things are blooming here!!
This Amarilys is from Scott and Faith...a Christmas gift.
It will keep giving beautiful thoughts to me for a long time !

 I love SUNRISE !!
It is pretty peeking up behind the distant mountains !
Our village awakes ........I go out every morning to see the birds,and plants...just very peaceful!

 Swiss Chard is our cool weather plant.
Fresh from the garden...yummy.
Soon the heritage tomatoes will be planted .
There will also be peas,cucumbers and peppers.

 All three "wine trees" are blooming.
Look near the red post ,almost dead center. The first leaf for the 2011 growing season !
Last year we had 38 bunches of harvest.
Wonder what 2011 will bring ??

 After all the rain, cool weather, no sunshine, a gift appears.!!

Finally !!

My Aloe Vera is blooming.

I received this plant for a Teacher's Appreciation Day around 1998.

This was in Virginia....little 4 inch plant.

Never grew much bigger in Buffalo.

This thing has propegated into about 20 plants.

 It is sending up  a bloom !!

Must get some drawing done. I picked up a new sketching class which France -Marie offers. So now it is 9 hours of instruction per week. I'll post soon. Desperately trying to do watercolors.
